A WHITE JADE MUGHAL-STYLE
'CHRYSANTHEMUM'
BOWL AND EMBELLISHED COVER
QING DYNASTY, 18TH CENTURY
The delicate stone intricately worked
with deep rounded paper-thin sides as
a radiating floral bloom with fluted
petals, gently rising to an everted
rim, all supported on a short foot,
the rim flanked by a pair of curled
acanthus loop handles, the domed cover
similarly worked with slender petals
radiating from a semi-precious stone
finial within a gilt-bronze band
